CHEF RANI PATHARE

Rani is passionate about cooking authentic Indian food. She was born and brought up in Mumbai when it was called Bombay. Rani is driven by her Marathi origins in Mumbai, Maharashtra and inspired by her parents, particularly her father who shared her passion for cooking authentic Indian food. Her parents have shared the secrets of their culinary expertise with her, setting them within the context of the traditional culture and heritage. Now, nothing gives her more pleasure than to pass on her knowledge of Indian cookery and culture. Taking part in MasterChef 2014 has was an exciting journey for her, full of culinary adventures. The highlights were being highly praised for her cooking skills and the art of combining spices in a unique manner by the show judges. Rani enjoys teaching Indian food and meeting new people and she aims to inspire people to cook great tasting and healthy Indian food.
