The Full Story

My name’s Giselle. Many years ago, I was made redundant from a high-flying career in Dubai and hopped on a plane to America. I thought I’d be there for a few weeks.

With my life packed in an oversized rucksack, I criss-crossed the country for months, developing a fascination with all things American, including those ride the dog ­– the iconic Greyhound buses.

I’ve now spent a long time travelling America’s highways, both on and off the buses. It’s given me the opportunity to interact with “real” America: the people Hollywood ignores and the parts of the country that don’t make the guidebooks.
